We at A1 hope this letter finds you safe and healthy wherever you are. While all businesses are being impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, we at A1 know that the food service industry is taking the brunt of the effects. This is a time like no other, when life and business as we know it has come to a complete halt and we are asked to shelter in place to help the spread of this pandemic.
At A1, we have taken the added precautions to keep our employees safe and also to limit the possible spread. We have been able to finish up a few projects that were caught with their restaurant closed or in the middle of a remodel process. We know that even after the shelter in place orders are lifted the restaurant business is going to take some time to recover and get back sales and profitability which is going to affect our company as well.
We want to assure you that A1 will weather this storm and look forward to working with you again on your Equipment and Furniture needs.
Our Employees have been what has made us at A1 successful. So at this time, we have decided to implement some discounts that will help us keep our employees employed and paid during this pandemic and the rest of the year as business recovers. Hopefully these discounts will also help those Franchisees that are stuck with development agreements with current landlords and also help those that are still able to develop. So on any New Store Openings in 2020, A1 will be offering up to a 10% Discount on the complete Equipment and Furniture package. On a New location this would be a $25,000-$30,000 savings.
